Eggplant (Italian, Annina)

This medium sized, mottled white and purple eggplant is a stylish addition to your late-summer plate. It makes a great base for middle eastern sauces (babaganoush anyone?), kababs, or ratatouille. What's not to love about a fanciful purple vegetable? Plant 18" apart and don't fertilize too much.
